MSM (Methyl-sulfonyl-methane) is an odourless, naturally occurring organic
sulphur. Sulphur is the fourth most abundant mineral in all living things and is
vital to the creation and regeneration of tissue. MSM is found in, and used by,
every cell in the human body and is indispensable to good health. It is
necessary for the synthesis of collagen, immunoglobulin and enzymes. It is a
source of sulphur for the amino acids cysteine and methionine. As a source of
sulphur, it is beneficial for healthy hair, skin (especially in the treatment of
acne) and nails. Using Vitamin C together with MSM will further boost collagen
in joints.

This product is mostly used for osteoarthritis. Research has indicated that
MSM may restrict the degeneration of joints in animals with osteoarthritis.
One of the most significant uses of MSM as a supplement is its demonstrated
ability to relieve pain and inflammation. When rigid fibrous tissue cells swell
